Ngoc Dao is a Fellow of the Retirement and Disability Social Policy Extramural Mentored Fellowship Program at the CFS Retirement and Disability Social Policy Research (CFS RDRC), University of Wisconsin – Madison during the 2019-2020 academic year. Her research interests broadly lay in the intersection of public finance and economic behavioral responses with a focus on population ageing. Specially she is studying the relationship between public policies and retirement preparedness including financial well-beings and health aspects of the seniors in the United States. At the RDRC, she is carrying series of studies estimating the effects of the state retirement income tax breaks on saving behaviors, income in retirement, labor participation and mobility. Prior to joining the CFS RDRD, Ngoc earns a Ph.D in Public Affairs with concentrations on Public Finance and Policy Analysis from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University.
