The fifth annual Junior Scholar Intensive Training (JSIT) takes place in Madison, WI on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The program is a collaboration of the Center for Financial Security and the Howard University Center on Race and Wealth (CRW) supported by the Social Security Administration’s Retirement and Disability Research Consortium (RDRC). Fifteen scholars from across the US join expert mentors and instructors at UW-Madison for a week-long workshop focused on training and mentoring emerging researchers on developing proposals on social insurance and the intersections with disability and retirement.
