Fenaba Addo and Jason Houle, along with their co-author Daniel Simon, recently published a paper in the Journal of Race and Social Problems entitled “Young, Black and (Still) in the Red: Parental Wealth, Race, and Student Loan Debt”. The paper examines the disparity between black young adult debt load and their white counterparts as well as discusses the differences in experience with paying down the debt.
