Background Information:

The event began on the evening of May 21st with a presentation from Jonathan Morduch from NYU on the ongoing Financial Diaries project. This breakthrough study provides a “deep dive” over more than a year into the lives of low income families. Please visit this site to familiarize yourself with this Financial Diaries project.

A recent article published in The Economist provides an excellent backdrop for the workshop topics.
